The team includes 10 each of boys and girls who are set to contest against 19 other nations from the region.
The boys team include in-form shuttlers Kenneth Aruggoda, Thidasa Weragoda, Reshan Dimbukwallage, Janeesha de Silva, Senuth Perera, Nethil Thewmika, Maneth Wijegunawardena, Pamith Attanayake, Dinew Wimalarathne and Thenul Ganewatta, while Ranithma Liyanage, Sithuli Ranasinghe, Nethmi Ratnayake, Vishwanie Wanniarachchi, Dilini Ambalangodage, Isuri Attanayake, Sithumi de Silva, Vinuthi Ranasinghe, Yenara Wickremasinghe and Ranumi Mannage form the strong girls' team.
They will contest against players from Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei, India, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Macau China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and hosts Indonesia.
The President of Sri Lanka Badminton, Mr. Roshan Gunawardena will join the the contingent alongside coaches Sahan Siriwardena and Ranthushka Karunathilaka and Lady Chaperone Mrs. Chandani at the regional tournament conducted by Badminton Asia.
