Together, they gave budding footballers the chance to train under the guidance of top Italian coaches by bringing the Juventus Football Training Camp to town.
The five-day event at Colombo Racecourse ground saw Juventus Head Coach Fabio Cucciniello, and his fellow Coaches Miguelangel Della Vecchia and Giovanni Giacomini give young players training tips to improve their skills.
It was the tenth time Colombo Kickerz had brought international experts for the annual training camp.
Both on the pitch and behind the scenes, the focus was on skills, tactics and teamwork.
GAC’s team in Sri Lanka handled all the logistics for the event, safely delivering footballs, training equipment and shirts.
