Commercial Bank reaffirms its support for nature

The CSR Trust of the Commercial Bank has sponsored the publication of a book on the biodiversity and environment of Sri Lanka to encourage initiatives that increase awareness of these subjects and the importance of environment protection.

Authored by naturalists/ journalists Messrs Sudath Abeysinghe and Jayantha Jayewardene of the Biodiversity and Elephant Conservation Trust (BECT), the recently-launched book contains valuable information on numerous aspects including the environment, geographical formations of Sri Lanka, its biodiversity and inheritances and the issues confronting the environment.
