PPIM Becomes Sri Lanka's Only ACCA Platinum Approved Learning Partner – Awarded by ACCA UK
PPIM achieves ACCA's highest global accreditation tier four years after attaining Gold status, cementing its position as Sri Lanka's leading ACCA tuition provider.
PPIM having been awarded Platinum Approved Learning Partner status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), makes it the only institute in Sri Lanka currently holding ACCA's highest level of accreditation for tuition providers.
Platinum Approved Learning Partner status represents the top tier of ACCA's global Approved Learning Partner (ALP) programme, which recognises institutions that demonstrate the highest standards of teaching quality, academic governance, and student outcomes.
Platinum providers are required to maintain student pass rates that consistently exceed global ACCA averages across multiple examination sessions - meaning the designation must be continually earned, not simply achieved once.
PPIM first attained ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner status in 2022.
Its elevation to Platinum in 2026 - four years later, reflects a consistent track record of exceptional academic delivery since the institute's founding in 2019.
PPIM operates learning centres in Colombo and Kandy and has extended its reach internationally through academic partnerships in India, Maldives, and Vietnam.
The institute's student performance has been a defining factor in the accreditation.
PPIM produced the World Prize Winner (Rank 1) for the September 2024 session and has also achieved global rankings of 2nd and 3rd in the December 2023 and June 2024 exam sessions.
This accomplishment places them among the leading ACCA institutions in Sri Lanka.
Commenting on the achievement, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ziyan Mohideen said:
"PPIM is honoured to be recognised as the only ACCA Platinum Accredited Institute in Sri Lanka.
This prestigious distinction is awarded by ACCA UK following an extensive and rigorous evaluation of academic standards, student outcomes, and quality of tuition.
Achieving Platinum Status within such a short span reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence and our vision to elevate professional education in Sri Lanka to the highest global standards.
This recognition is not only a milestone for PPIM, but also a proud moment for our nation - it demonstrates that Sri Lankan education can meet and exceed global benchmarks.
Our ambition is simple: to position Sri Lanka as a global hub for ACCA excellence."
A key component of PPIM's academic model is its technology-driven learning ecosystem, built around an advanced and interactive Learning Management System (LMS).
The platform provides students with access to lectures, study resources, performance analytics, and continuous academic support, enabling a flexible yet structured learning experience designed to maximise exam success.
Students pursuing the ACCA qualification also can earn an internationally recognised academic degree through ACCA's partnership with the University of London, providing a dual pathway to both professional and academic credentials.
ACCA is one of the world's leading professional accountancy bodies, with members and students across more than 180 countries.
Its qualifications are recognised for their emphasis on technical expertise, ethical standards, and strategic thinking, equipping finance professionals to succeed in a rapidly evolving global business environment.
