CIPM was the Winner of the Business Excellence awards in the Education Sector, 1st Runner-up in the Medium-scale Enterprises category, and Merit Award winner for Capacity Building.
CIPM Sri Lanka President – Ken Vijayakumar, CEO – U. A. C. Obeysekera, and Senior Manager, Quality Assurance & Compliance - Ruwani Seneviratne represented CIPM at the ceremony.

This is the highest number of awards won by CIPM in a single event.
This amplifies CIPM’s standing as the leader in human resource management in the nation,” said Ken Vijayakumar – President, CIPM Sri Lanka.
The winners were selected based on the National Business Excellence Model which comprises 7 areas namely strategy and leadership, corporate governance, capacity building, performance management, local and global market reach, and CSR.
The selection process for the National Business Excellence Awards included evaluating applications based on the seven-point criteria and reviews in three stages: a desk review involving a technical panel, interviews of shortlisted candidates, and a final review of all preliminary evaluation reports and the outcome of the interviews by a panel of judges.
The National Business Excellence Awards ceremony is an annual event conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce which continues to maintain high standards thus strongly positioning itself as a dominant and progressive organization which believes in “Excellence” at all times.
