The award was presented to Mr. Sujeewa Sampath Lekamge, the founder of the Regency School Network, at a ceremony held at the Mount Lavinia Grand Hotel.
In 2023, the school was also honoured as a pioneer in education reforms at the Business Icon Awards organised by the Global Consortium of Science and Technology.
Mr. Lekamge received the National Entrepreneurial Excellence Award at the 2024 National Entrepreneurial Excellence Presidential Awards.
