MAS Bodyline Leads Third Consecutive Sri Pada Clean-Up Initiative
Nearly 1,000 volunteers from MAS Bodyline and across MAS Holdings came together on 31 May, at the end of Sri Pada pilgrimage season, to help clean the sacred trail.
For the third consecutive year, they walked the route from the summit to Nallathanniya, clearing plastic, polythene, and other non biodegradable waste left behind by pilgrims.
Around 5,000 kilograms of waste was cleared from the trail - helping to protect a site that holds deep environmental and cultural significance for Sri Lanka.
The effort was strengthened by the support of religious leaders, security forces, healthcare teams, local authorities, and media representatives.
