ITC Ratnadipa Welcomes Master Chef Wang Peng to Present a Week Long Exclusive Chinese Culinary Showcase at Yi Jing

Businesscafe - ITC Ratnadipa is set to host a gourmet experience with renowned Master Chef Wang Peng in Chinese cuisine at Yi Jing from June 13th to 19th, 2025.

Known for his mastery of Sichuan and Hunan cooking styles (two iconic Chinese regional cuisines celebrated for their bold, spicy, and aromatic flavours), Chef Peng will present a curated à la carte menu featuring 20 of his signature dishes, available exclusively for dinner from 6:30 pm onwards.


Chef Wang Peng, currently leading the culinary team at Yi Jing, ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad, is a culinary veteran with over 22 years of experience across Oriental and Pan Asian kitchens.


Hailing from Xian, a city famed for its rich noodle heritage, Chef Peng has perfected the art of handmade noodles, including La Mian (pulled), Dao Xao Mian (cut), and the legendary Biang Biang (stretched) noodles.


His reputation as a maestro of texture and flavour is further enhanced by his intricate Dim Sums and his deep, process-driven approach to every dish.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chef Peng has been celebrated for his ability to blend nostalgia with innovation, creating dishes that pay homage to his roots while delighting the modern palate.


The curated menu at Yi Jing will feature his signature dishes such as Shrimp and Calamari Dumplings, Yu Xiang Style Eggplant in Pickle Chili Sauce, Crackling Prawn with Crack Chilli and Potato Crisps, and Biang Biang Chilli Oil Noodles, among others.


Yi Jing has long been recognised as Ahmedabad’s premier destination for Chinese cuisine, celebrated for its exquisite Dim Sum and hand-pulled noodles.
