Softlogic Life partners with Dialog’s Doc990 to Elevate Healthcare Access

At the forefront of insurance digital transformation in Sri Lanka, Softlogic Life has partnered with Dialog’s Doc990 to introduce a fully cashless OPD claims facility for its corporate health and life insurance clients, shifting outpatient care from a reimbursement-driven process to a real-time, digitally enabled cashless experience.

Through this integration, employees covered under Softlogic Life corporate medical policies can now channel doctors via the Doc990 platform through a seamless charge to their Insurance Benefit Facility without any upfront payments.

Claims are processed instantly at the point of care, eliminating the need for manual submissions, documentation, or reimbursement wait times.

This fundamentally simplifies one of the most frequently used components of health insurance, aligning it with the expectations of today’s digitally connected workforce.

In addition, eligible users will receive a 35% discount on Doc990 channeling service fee, enabling them to preserve their OPD limits while extracting greater value from their cover.

As Sri Lanka’s largest health insurer, Softlogic Life continues to expand the role of insurance beyond protection, embedding it directly into the healthcare journey.

This partnership reflects a broader shift in the industry where digital ecosystems, real-time claims processing, and platform integrations are redefining how insurance is experienced, moving it from a transactional product to an always-on service.

By integrating insurance eligibility directly into the channeling process, Softlogic Life removes long-standing pain points associated with outpatient claims, replacing them with speed, simplicity, and seamless access to care.

Commenting on the partnership, Iftikar Ahamed, Managing Director of Softlogic Life, stated,

“The real opportunity in insurance today lies not just in covering risk, but in eliminating the complexity around accessing care.

Today, we serve the largest corporate portfolios in the country, including some of Sri Lanka’s leading organizations, and our differentiation goes beyond price.

It is the strength of our service and how seamlessly we integrate technology to make insurance effortless for both employers and their employees.

With Doc990, we are embedding insurance directly into the moment it is most needed, making it worry free, instant, and effortless for the customer.

This is a deliberate step in building a connected digital healthcare ecosystem, where our scale translates into smarter solutions, better access, and tangible everyday value for the organizations and people we serve.”

Supun Weerasinghe, Director / Group Chief Executive of Dialog Axiata PLC, commented,

“We are pleased to partner with Softlogic Life in advancing more accessible and connected healthcare for Sri Lankans.

By integrating digital platform capabilities with insurance, this collaboration simplifies how individuals engage with outpatient care, enabling a seamless, cashless experience at the point of need.

Through Doc990, we remain committed to leveraging technology to enhance convenience, improve reach, and support a more responsive healthcare ecosystem across Sri Lanka.”

With this initiative, Softlogic Life continues to strengthen its position as a leader in digitally enabled life and health insurance, responding to the growing demand for solutions that combine protection with convenience, and transforming insurance into a seamless, embedded part of everyday healthcare access.
