CEAT opens premium Shop-in-Shop outlet at Olympic Tyre House, Colombo 6

CEAT Kelani Holdings has expanded its network of premium retail outlets with the opening of a new Shop-in-Shop (SIS) facility at Olympic Tyre House located at No. 255, Havelock Road, Colombo 6, strengthening the brand’s presence in one of the capital’s busiest commercial areas.

Strategically located opposite Havelock City Mall, the new outlet offers vehicle owners convenient access to CEAT’s full range of tyre solutions in a modern, customer-friendly retail environment.

The facility provides an extensive range of CEAT tyres at attractive discounts alongside a comprehensive portfolio of tyre-related services including nitrogen and air inflation, wheel balancing and wheel alignment.

A dedicated customer lounge has also been incorporated into the outlet to provide added comfort while vehicles are being attended to.

The new outlet has been developed in line with CEAT’s latest retail identity linked to the brand’s ‘Engineered in Germany’ proposition, which underscores the premium positioning of its car radial tyre range.

Designed to offer a seamless experience from product discovery through purchase and servicing, the space provides customers with convenient access to expert technical support in a focused retail setting that reflects the quality and performance associated with the CEAT brand.

The Shop-in-Shop concept is an innovative retail initiative by CEAT that establishes a dedicated branded zone within existing multi-brand dealer outlets.

By creating a visually distinctive CEAT space, the concept enhances the in-store experience for customers while reinforcing the brand’s premium identity and enabling channel partners to present CEAT products within a cohesive, well-defined environment.

As part of this initiative, CEAT invests in upgrading the retail environment of partner outlets through the installation of illuminated brand facades, interior and exterior signage, improved roofing and glazing, enhanced lighting, modern furniture, and attractive tyre display racks supported by brand merchandising elements.

These upgrades transform traditional tyre outlets into modern retail destinations while providing dealers with a structured framework designed to increase customer footfall and loyalty.

While CEAT remains focused on delivering a superior tyre purchasing experience to vehicle owners, the company also places strong emphasis on empowering its dealer partners.

By supporting the transformation of dealer facilities into premium retail environments, CEAT not only strengthens brand visibility but also contributes to improved operational efficiency and business growth for its channel partners.

The new outlet further expands CEAT’s growing premium retail network, which currently includes three flagship Customer Invested Dealer Operated (CIDO) stores located at Ethul Kotte, Madampe and Mirihana, as well as 12 other Shop-in-Shop partner outlets across the Western Province and key regional cities.

Ranked Sri Lanka’s most valuable tyre brand by Brand Finance and named the ‘Most Loved Tyre Brand’ in Sri Lanka in 2025 by LMD, CEAT is the country’s highest-selling tyre brand, with over 1.2 million tyres sold annually.

CEAT Kelani’s rise to market leadership is driven by sustained investments in technology, innovation and capacity, with manufacturing operations spanning tyres for passenger cars, vans, SUVs, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, three-wheelers and agricultural vehicles.

Besides meeting around half of Sri Lanka’s automotive tyre demand, CEAT Kelani exports approximately 20 per cent of its output to 16 countries.

The company has invested more than Rs. 8.5 billion in Sri Lanka and has committed a further Rs. 4.5 billion over the next 18 months, reinforcing its role as a key contributor to the national economy and a trusted partner to the transport sector.
