Gamer.LK’s Women's Cyber Games 2026 powered by Maggi Papare Blast Wraps Up Another Thrilling Showcase of Female Esports Talent
Gamer.LK, Sri Lanka's premier Esports organisation, recently hosted the seventh edition of Women's Cyber Games (WCG) 2026 powered by Maggi Papare Blast at Havelock City Mall, Colombo.
Sri Lanka's largest female-focused Esports event brought together female gamers from across the country for a day of competition, creativity, and community, with a prize pool of Rs. 100,000 distributed across all game titles.
Now in its seventh year, Women's Cyber Games has established itself as the cornerstone of female participation in Sri Lanka's competitive gaming scene.
The 2026 edition built on this proud legacy, bringing together players across mobile, PC, console and VR platforms under one roof.
The event went beyond the arena as well, with a women's cosplay showcase adding another dimension to the day, giving participants a stage to express their creativity and passion for gaming culture.
The event saw fierce battles across all game titles, with the following champions emerging victorious:
Rashmi Jayawardana claimed the FC 26 title, while Saj Samarakoon took the top spot in both Beat Saber and League of Legends 1v1.
Ayothma Sadani of Soul of Devils emerged champion in Clash Royale, and Venuki Weerakoon of Immortal Esports dominated Simulator Racing on Forza.
Rooman Doole flew the LVG Esports flag to win Mortal Kombat 1, while Prasangi Poorna of Team Genesis claimed the Call of Duty Mobile Solo BR crown.
In Free Fire Solo BR, Puji Withanage of Soul of Devils took the title, with her teammates Zoey Peiris and Shabeena Dewmini going on to clinch the Free Fire Clash Squad (2v2) championship for Immortal Esports.
LVG Esports made their mark in Mobile Legends, with Imandi Kavithma, Sasenya Mandakini, Nirupama Dulanjalee, Nimanthi Bandara, Poornima Karunarathna and S.L. Dissanayake claiming the championship.
Thahani Azmi of Soul of Devils won Valorant Deathmatch, Senumi Ekanayake topped Valorant 1v1, and Soul of Devils rounded off a strong day by claiming the PUBG MOBILE TDM (2v2) title through Hemali Balasooriya and Dilini Prasanthika.
Soul of Devils were crowned the Best Clan of Gamer.LK Women’s Cyber Games 2026 following a series of strong performances across multiple titles throughout the championship.
“Women’s Cyber Games has always been about more than trophies, it’s about proving that female Esports athletes belong on every stage, local and global.
Every year, we see players arrive as hopeful competitors and leave as champions and role models.
This year was no different.
These female Esports athletes didn’t just compete, they inspired the next generation of female gamers to pick up a gaming title, believe in themselves and chase their own victories.
That’s the legacy WCG is building each year as we see athletes here go on to represent Sri Lanka in the international Esports arena,” said Vikum Jayasekera, Director, Gamer.LK.
Maggi Papare Blast joined Women’s Cyber Games 2026 as the Title Partner, supporting the event’s continued efforts to create inclusive and engaging opportunities for female gamers across Sri Lanka’s growing Esports community.
Women's Cyber Games 2026 once again proved that when players, fans, and creators come together something truly special happens and with Gamer.LK continuing to push the boundaries of Esports in Sri Lanka there is plenty more to look forward to across the competitive gaming calendar.
