Calcey moves into Trace Expert City

Boutique software firm expands Innovation Center in Sri Lanka. Calcey Technologies, an innovative software product engineering firm based in San Francisco California and Sri Lanka, moved their Colombo based Innovation Centre into the modern office premises at Trace Expert City.

The move in was graced by Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Chairman Urban Development Authority (UDA) Mr. Nimal Perera, dignitaries from the Sri Lankan Army, UDA, and the Management of Calcey Technologies and its employees.

Calcey Technologies became the second software company to enter the Expert City, which is developed under the guidance of the Ministry of Defence, The Urban Development Authority and the Sri Lankan Army, while being supervised by TRACE.


The new Calcey office premises presents a chic work environment with industrial interior. Embracing both its origin—a 100 year old historical warehouse—and modern architecture, the new premises has been renovated and refurbished to create a chic workplace that includes ample space, with open brick architecture giving a totally new industrial ambience to the trade centre earlier used by the British.
