SADAHAM PRABHA 2026 Illuminates Colombo Lotus Tower with an Immersive Vesak Digital Art Experience

Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company is presenting SADAHAM PRABHA 2026, themed “The Radiance of True Dhamma,” today from 6.00 p.m. onwards at the Colombo Lotus Tower, bringing together culture, spirituality and digital innovation through an immersive and interactive Vesak digital art experience.

Building on the success of the 2025 Vesak digital art showcase, this year’s programme further strengthens Colombo Lotus Tower’s position as a landmark destination for next-generation cultural engagement.

The event brings the timeless values of Vesak to life through contemporary digital storytelling, offering visitors an opportunity to experience Sri Lanka’s Buddhist heritage through a modern, inclusive and technology-driven format.

SADAHAM PRABHA 2026 is being held with the participation of Hon. Eng. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Waruna Sri Dhanapala, Secretary to the Ministry of Digital Economy, as Guest of Honour.

Their presence reflects the growing significance of digital platforms in promoting Sri Lanka’s cultural identity, creative industries and visitor economy.

The evening will feature traditional ceremonial elements, cultural performances, student reflections under the theme “What Vesak Means to Us,” and a special presentation titled “A Glimpse of Vesak 2025 & What’s Special in 2026.”

The programme will also include a guided visit to Pixel Bloom, South Asia’s first digital art museum, where guests will experience the immersive digital Vesak exhibition and the Pixel Bloom Digital Vesak Kalapaya.

The event also promotes unity, harmony and cultural appreciation by featuring young voices from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, encouraging broader participation and reflection during the Vesak season.

By combining traditional values with immersive digital media, SADAHAM PRABHA 2026 creates a shared public experience that is relevant to families, students, cultural enthusiasts, tourists and the wider community.

A media interaction and networking session will follow the official programme, with the participation of leading print, television, digital and online media representatives.

The initiative further showcases Sri Lanka’s evolving Vesak celebrations in the digital era, while reinforcing Colombo Lotus Tower’s role as a dynamic venue for cultural, technological and tourism-led experiences.
