Janashakthi Life Empowers and Celebrates Creativity with Island wide Nidahas Adahas Kids Art Competition

Businesscafe - The recently concluded Nidahas Adahas (Colours of Imagination) Art Competition and Exhibition, an initiative by Janashakthi Life aimed at fostering creativity among young children, has emerged as a resounding success, showcasing the artistic brilliance of children aged 3-5 and 6-10.

The event attracted over 10,000 submissions from across the nation, with artworks collected through regional activations to ensure widespread participation, targeting schools and pre-schools nationwide.

The exhibition and award ceremony took place at BMICH Colombo, gathering an impressive array of artworks that reflected the diverse talents of our young artists.

A distinguished panel of judges in the realm of visual arts in Sri Lanka, including Kalapathi, Kalabooshana Pulasti Ediriveera, Ms. Prasadani Kumari, and Mr. Prageeth Rathnayake, meticulously evaluated each submission.

Following which, the top 100 artworks from each category took center stage at the BMICH Exhibition Centre, allowing the public to witness the talent displayed by our nation's youth.

The highlight of the competition unfolded with the announcement of the winners.

Recognizing their outstanding achievements, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category were presented with substantial cash prizes.

Notably, book vouchers were also extended to the top 10 participants from both age categories.

In addition to the competition, a complimentary workshop was also organized by Janashakthi Life to further enhance the artistic skills of the participating children.
