The new dedicated NEV showroom gives customers a sleek and sophisticated setting to experience DENZA’s D9 and its powerful premium SUV range, including the DENZA B5 and DENZA B8, in plug-in hybrid (PHEV) formats.
These models represent the cutting-edge of DENZA’s remarkable range of premium multi-purpose vehicles and high-performance NEVs, and are designed for customers seeking refined comfort and advanced performance capabilities.
“In the time that Sri Lanka was closed off to vehicle imports, the global move towards sustainable mobility accelerated, and expectations around premium travel experiences also grew.
With the new models now entering the market, we are seeing the same trend taking hold very firmly in Sri Lanka as well.”
“With its European-influenced design and advanced NEV technology, DENZA offers a blend of luxury, comfort and sustainability that meets this rising demand.
And for a premium vehicle like DENZA, The Shoppes at City of Dreams was the perfect venue to showcase this remarkable brand,” John Keells CG Auto Chief Executive Officer, Charith Panditharathne, said.
As part of its market rollout, DENZA also took part in the Colombo Motor Show 2025, held from November 21st to 23rd at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.
Celebrated as one of Sri Lanka’s most anticipated automotive exhibitions, the event attracts enthusiastic participation from the island’s motoring community, uniting enthusiasts, families, dealers and suppliers.
Established in 2010 through a collaboration between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, DENZA combines European-influenced design with advanced new energy platforms and technologies.
The brand introduced its first vehicle in 2014 and has since expanded into select international markets, including Europe and Indonesia.
Sri Lanka marks DENZA’s first entry into South Asia, with the showroom and Motor Show presence forming part of a phased introduction of its premium line up to the local market.
The DENZA showroom at the Shoppes at City of Dreams is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
