The new hub features a high-tech digital soundproof studio, immersive mood-driven sets, and a curated gallery showcasing artefacts and décor that reflect Sri Lanka’s heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
The facility aims to serve artists, commercial producers, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, designers, digital content creators, and art enthusiasts seeking a professional space to develop and share their work.
“Our purpose is simple, it is to inspire creators and give them the tools, knowledge, and environment to tell stories that matter,” said Ruchira Jayawickrama, Head of ANIK.
“ANIK is built on the belief that Sri Lanka’s creativity, culture, and heritage deserve to be shared with the world.

Beyond production, ANIK plans to introduce training programmes to build capacity within the creative community, offering skill development in communications and media, audio engineering, photography, videography, set design, digital storytelling, and studio development and construction.
The initiative also focuses on preserving and promoting Sri Lankan culture by educating creators on heritage-inspired design, traditional craftsmanship, and cultural narratives that can be amplified through modern media.
According to the company, ANIK will engage with local artists, artistes, educators, and cultural institutions to foster collaborations, exhibitions, and programs that elevate Sri Lankan identity globally while creating economic opportunities for creators.
